We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Information Technology (IT) Intern to join the KPPF ICT team. The IT Intern will support our in-house IT department in providing technical assistance, maintaining computer systems, and configuring hardware and software. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with the implementation of new technologies, and provide support to KPPF staff.

• Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues._x000D_
• Follow up on user requests and ensure timely resolution_x000D_
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software._x000D_
• Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance and management of ICT assets._
• Perform system backups and maintain accurate records._x000D_
• Any other relevant duty or responsibility assigned by the Head of Section from time to time.
• Assist with help desk calls, scheduling, and tickets management
• Use remote tools for maintenance and support of ICT systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Provide training and support to staff on the use of computer systems and software.
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems.

• Bachelors Degree or an equivalent in bachelor of science (information and communication technology) from accredited and recognized institution.
• Bachelors Degree or an equivalent in bachelor of science (computer science) from accredited and recognized institution.
• Basic technical skills and aptitude to learn technology to support ICT users
• Knowledge of computer systems and software (Certification in Microsoft Business Central will be an added advantage)
• Knowledge of network and system security (CISCO Certification)
• Familiarity with hardware and software installation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
